JUDITH ANDRE

“I use glass to create expressive sculptures and plates; setting up a rhythm of color and form, texture and shape. Each piece is assembled from layers of translucent and opaque glass, lampworked, laminated and sandblasted elements, dichroic glass and metallic lusters, then fired multiple times to fuse and bend them into their final shape.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska with an emphasis in ceramics. I have work in numerous collections, both public and private, which include Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery, Rall Art Gallery, Sterling Financial, National Heart Savers, and Haymarket Theatre.”
