We invite you to apply to become a member of Gallery 9 Professional Artists Affiliation and to join other visual artists in presenting distinctive, original, high quality art and fine crafts to be sold year-round at the gallery. This is an exciting opportunity to become involved in developing and expanding your artistic horizons by meeting and working with other artists.
HOW IT WORKS
Membership applications are voted on by the current members of the gallery and are judged for quality, presentation, and distinction from other work currently on display at the gallery. Along with your application you will need to submit 10-20 photographs or digital images of your work, current artist resume, and 3-6 samples of display-ready work. Applications are usually reviewed on the third Sunday of each month. Please confirm with the gallery when dropping off your work.

Gallery 9 Professional Artists Affiliation is an artist-founded, member-juried, and member-governed organization of visual artists. We encourage professional growth and artistic freedom, and our members adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards. In addition, the gallery is committed to serving and educating the public in the arts.
THE GALLERY
Founded in 1994, Gallery 9 is an independent cooperative gallery located in the historic Mission Arts Building, whose other tenants include artists studios, arts related businesses, and apartments. The renovated building is on the National Historic Register and has a colorful past.
The gallery features solo, two-person, small group, and all-member shows throughout the year on a monthly schedule. A permanent group sales space allows constant visibility for members’ work.

MONTHLY DUES: $35
Featured exhibition fee: $50
20% commission on sold work
10% discount on purchases
Participation in meetings with full voting privileges
Participation on committees
12 days work per year (may be half-days or grouped)
JEWELRY MEMBERSHIP
May show jewelry and small related items
Small group featured shows
Year-round exposure in the gallery
MONTHLY DUES: $15

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP
Open to those living beyond a 50-mile radius of Lincoln, NE

SUPPORTING MEMBERSHIP
